Creative Ad @ TimeSquare

Dear Readers,

Today i went to TimeSquare @ NY with my mom & wife. When we all were roaming in the street suddenly we see many people standing opposite to a shop and dancing, jumping, saying Hi with raising hands etc... I was wondering what's that and went near to the crowd.

Then only i realized that a new shop has been opened @ TimeSquare named "Forever 21". The ad that they displayed on the shop has a video camera which shoots the people standing outside. A girl appears in that display. She clicks some photo's of the people standing in front of that shop and show your photo's to you on the screen :) Very funny and creative too. An another gal comes and erases the images on the screen with a liquid :).... Just watch out this video you will know.

iPhone Notes in Email Accounts

iPhone 4 has been released a day before the exact day promised to customers. It's now rocking. This post is not about iPhone 4 instead iOS4 notes feature.

iOS4 has an advanced features like we can write a notes to our mail account. For example when i take any notes in my iPhone the same can be viewed in my Gmail account under Notes lable. I know you will ask how:). Let's see now.

1. Open "Notes" application from your iPhone.

2. Incase if you are in mid of any notes then tap on "Notes" tab and again to "Accounts" tab. By this way you will reach the main page of notes.

3. You will see all your email accounts that you have singed in your iPhone. Tap on any of the account on which you want to add notes.

4. Tap on "+" to add new notes to that account. Once you add notes the same will be reflected in your Gmail account under "Notes" label.

They went for a trip @ South Africa with their 8 yr and 6 yr old daughters. These kids got bore as that was a lengthy journey in deserts. 8yr old daughter to keep her busy she started to film herself with some short stories in their iPod and play for her sister. And they both engage themselves thru out the journey with these short stories which triggered these couple to launch such website.

Switching to HD while playing youtube full screen video

When Google take over YouTube it's a daily news of new features for their customers (for us). A new feature added recently allows us to play HD (High Definition) video's when we switch to full screen mode. This way we can enjoy the real fun in our video's.

Goto "My Accounts" and click on "Settings" then choose "Playback Setup" from the left panel.

Now Check "Always play HD when switching to fullscreen (when available)" Option to play HD video when we switch to full-screen.

Don't forget to click on "Save Changes" button to enjoy HD video's in full screen mode by default.

Creating Folder in iOS4

One of the most listed feature in iOS4 is folder creation. Let's see how to create the same today.

1. Hold any of the application until the application started dancing.

2. Now hold that particular application and move to another similar application (Eg: Move one game into another game). The moment you move you will get a screen as below

3. iPhone will detect the category and name the folder automatically. Incase if you want to rename it then just start typing it.

4. Repeat step2 to move all the applications into that folder. Max you can move only 12 apps in a folder. Finally you will get as below.

5. Incase if you moved any application to different folder by mistake then just double tap on that folder you will get the list of applications as below. Hold that app and keep moving outside that folder and other folders will be active. Move and release your tap once you reach the right folder.

How to install iOS4 in your iPhone

Finally it's out. I cant believe myself and i cant control my excitement to see how iOS4 will be !!!!!!!!!!!!

I have just updated iOS4 in my iPhone3GS hence i thought of posting about how to update your phone with new OS. Before you update you should be having iPhone 3G or higher version.

Below are few easy steps to be followed to update your iPhone OS.

1. Plug your iPhone to your PC on which you use sync.
2. After synchronization click on the iphone and in the right side click on "Update" button. You would be asked to download iTunes 9.2. Click on "Install now" button to start installing iTunes 9.2.

3. Upon installing iTunes 9.2 synchronization will take place. After that click on the iphone and again click on "Update" button

4. Click on "Continue", it will take some time to start initialization. It may sync and backup your device which is normal.
5. Read the instruction and click on "Next"  then keep moving until you go to end screen.

6. It will take 20-30 mins to update. Your phone may switch off and on automatically several times which is normal. Please dont unplug your Device.
 Finally you will get a new screen as below :) It's me and my wife at background :)

Creating Playlist in YouTube

Dear Readers,

Today We shall see how to create a play-list in YouTube.

1. Login to Youtube.

2. Click on Your account name and select My Videos.

3. Click on "New" Drop down menu and select "PlayList"

4. Enter the name of your Playlist in the input box that appear and click on "Create" button. Here in this example i created a playlist named "Illakiya's Birthday"

5. Enter the information as requested in the screen and click on "Save Changes"

6. Click on  "Uploaded videos" in the left panel and check the list of video's that you want to save as playlist.

 Once check the list of video's click on "Add To" button and select "Playlist"

7. Now select the Playlist for which you want to add the selected video's to. (Here i choose Illakiya's birthday to add both her video's)

8. Once you Click on "Add to Playlist" button as above the selected video's will be available in the playlist.

9. Incase if you want to edit the sequence/position of the playlist, Select respective Playlist from the left panel and click on the numbers of the playlist directly.. It will change to edit mode and re-arrange the #'s.

Creating and uploading Video's in YouTube

Thanks for your support to my blog and your hits + comments triggers me to give more information at your vision.

Today i am gonna show you how to create a video of your own and upload the same into YouTube. Video is an another way of expressing your feel visually. YouTube provides a great opportunity to share your video with your friends and family for free.

We use to take photo's and video's thru our camera/other device, once the photo's or videos are stored in your memory card we would be downloading to PC and hosting into web. Why don't we merge the video's and photo's into a kind of movie by adding our loved music into it? Let's watch out how.

Creating video's using movie maker.

Windows Movie maker comes free with Windows which would be easy for us to create a movies with your photo's or video's. I use some different video maker tool which is not free :)

Now let's start to see how to upload the video into YouTube .

1. Sign into Youtube.com with your gmail id.

2. Once you sign in you will be seeing an option at the top right corner as "My videos", please click on that.

3. You would be seeing a screen as below. Click on "New" and choose "Upload videos"

4. Now in the Upload Screen you have two options, either you can upload a video that's created by you or you can capture any new video thru your Webcam. Click on the "Upload Video" button now to upload the video which is already available.

Note: You can upload a video of size upto 2GB or it can be upto 10mins in length.

5. Choose your video and click on Ok to start uploading it. You should fill the options like "Title","Description","Tags","Category" and Privacy settings.

Privacy settings is the one which is more important. You have three options one as to share the video to entire world or we can share with particular youtube viewers or one who knows the link alone can view.

Upon filling these options click on "Save changes". You will be getting an message as "Changes pending: your video settings will be saved once your upload is completed." in the top of the screen.

6. As per your internet speed the video upload will take place. Now you can just sit back and relax. You tube will convert this video into .flv format and load. If your video has some copyright songs then you would be receiving an email to your account in less than 4 mins but if any action required from your end will be notified in that message. If the video is restricted as per the youtube policy then you wont be able to see it in web.

Untraceable - Every clip thrills you PG 13+

Today I watched a movie titled "Untraceable". This movie is about an FBI unit that searches for and solves cyber crimes, which is anything involving the internet and computers. 

Diane Lane plays Jennifer Marsh in this Movie. They use to involve in the case where some theft and other computer related crimes happen until they saw a site named "Killwithme.com". A Psycho killer kidnaps the person and setup the environment to kill that person. The video streaming is done live and the more viewers the faster the victim dies. It's like the visitors of the page kills the victim.

The first murder starts from an animal, and it continues. Jennifer starts investigating this case and the challenging part to her team is they couldn't trace the website killwithme.com. The website server keeps changing to different location. In the second murder the victim gives a clue which FBI team captures to investigate faster. Meantime FBI head gives a press meet to request US people not to visit this site. Every one are humans, what to do??? The viewers keep increasing faster in millions and the victim dies soon.

One day a team member of Jennifer is kidnapped and he is streamed lively. FBI team doesn't know what to do and how to react. The viewers keep increasing and the guy is gonna to die. Jennifer with the help of his team member she reads that guy's eye reaction. He gives the clue to FBI. Whether FBI reacted fast and saved that guy? Who was that guy? Why he kills everyone? is the rest of story. You can see some logic fall with FBI move which is common in movies. They should have given some extra care on this.

Lovable Scenes:

• Every scene is well narrated and makes you to sit on tip of your chair.
• The person behind the website starts coming after Jennifer and he will set up a camera outside of her house. Her daughter would see that in her PC and goes out of the home to see where is the cam. It was very interesting.
• When a FBI agent was kidnapped and he tries to give the clue thru his eyes was unusual + interesting. 
• The more visitors view the website the victim is killed soon. The website lets the viewers kill the victim
• When Jennifer was kidnapped by the killer the scene was narrated very interesting.

Auto forward in Gmail

We may have more than one mail account and we may use only one email account to receive emails from different account. Once we receive email to one account then we can set an option to forward to another account automatically.

1. Login to Gmail.

2. Click on "Settings" in top right corner.

3. Click on "Forward a copy of incoming mail to" and enter your primary email where you want to auto forward.

4. Shortly you will receive a confirmation code to that email id.

5. Open your forwarding email account, and find the confirmation message from the Gmail team.

6. Enter the confirmation code

7. Now you can select the option from "Forward a copy of incoming mail to" and the option either to keep the email after forward or to delete.
