Enthiran - The Robot Review

Dear Readers,

I have seen couple of emails to me stating have you seen enthiran yet? All my friends and family knows that i am mad of Mr.Rajinikanth & a good follower of Mr.Shankar.

From my childhood i have never missed first day show of any rajini movie. My uncle being the secretary of Rajini's fan club in my home town i use to get tickets for the first show. But unfortunately for Shivaji and Enthiran i have went without him and our group as i was in different location. 

The only hero which i have seen with this much simplicity and crazy on him is Mr.Rajinikanth. People are just mad about him. If you go for any movie and if you see his name or a poster appear in that movie then you can see the sounds & applause from audience. That gives his victory and the fans craziness on him.

The most awaited and a big budget movie Enthiran. The dream of two guys first Mr.Shankar who has prepared this story year sback and running behind the heroes + producers to make his dream on screen. Another one is Mr. Rajinikanth who was chasing Mrs. Aishwarya Rai bachan to pair him from Padayappa movie. Finally the dream of two pillars came to real. 

Shivaji was neither shankar's movie nor a Rajini's movie. It was a mix. Now Enthiran was directly a shankars movie.

Whenever Rajini's movie hit the screen it's a dewali festival for his fans. This time we have two dewali continuously.

Story line:

Simple story, A scientist who creates a robot which knows everything except one ie.,Feelings of human. He create this robot to help Indian army during the war. To avoid human loss in the war this robot should be helpful was his intension. Unfortunately during the initial approvals his demo is failed because this robot is dangerous as it runs only with commands and can easily be misused.

Now this scientist teaches how the human feelings will be to his robot which results in robot's love on scientists lover. What happens? Who won the game? is the rest of the story.

Scene i enjoyed:

I have seen this movie twice. I have enjoyed each and every frame of this movie as i am a fan of both Rajini & Shankar. But the scenes that i enjoyed most is as follows.

• An normal introduction of a big mass hero which is unusual.
• Telling IP Address of the robo when traffic inspector asks his address.
• When Robo answers to the question "Whether is there any God or no?"
• When robo get's the first human feel ie., Love.
• When robo says "she is alive" while rescuing a girl from fire.
• The last 30 mins of the movie i didnt even close my eyes. Each frame is enjoyable. A Different try and director shankar was very keen about not to mirror or repeat some graphical part in climax.

Abbu's Rating: 4/5. Though it has many logical fall considering directors hard work to make all class audience happy i could give this rating.

Tamil cinema industry has spoiled such a good actor only by offering mass role from him. We can watch the real rajini's acting on the big screen.

Verdict: Watch out robot without fail with family. A new try from indian cinema industry & to enjoy Rajini's real acting.

Naked Fear (18+ viewers only)

Dear Readers,

Last week i saw a movie "Naked Fear". this movie was released in the year 2007,the specialty of the movie is the screenplay of the story plus the actress.A big applause can be given to the director and the producer for giving us this movie.I m very unlucky that i saw this movie last week only.

Taking a brave decision is not a simple thing, i really appreciate the actress(Danielle De Luca) for her dedication and her decision to act for this movie.Let me not tell you much let me get into the story now.

Top line of the Naked fear:

Diana kelpers (actress) will be cheated by an agent who promised her to get a good job, but she will be forced by the agent to work as a bar dancer finally. To get the original driving licence  and go out of this job she need to pay the money to him. Considering her family situation and other things she finally agrees to work there.

The tip + salary was not sufficient for her to get out of this job. She was given an accommodation  and her room mate advises her to do prostitution to earn the money quickly and get out of this place. In Parallel there are complaints which is getting increased to police everyday that there are ladies who are disappearing very often. Investigation goes on.

In this situation, Diana kelper decides for prostitution. She looks for a guy in the bar and goes with her. In the mid of the way she change her decision to get back to her room as she couldn't compromise herself into this prostitution business. But the guy she had chosen was a psycho. His nature is to take the ladies to his house, remove their nails from their foot and make them to run on a jungle then kill them. He knows the jungle very well. 

Now Diana Kelper is kidnapped by this psycho. She is into the jungle. He asks her to  run. What happen after that is the rest of the story?

Scenes that i enjoyed:

• When she was dancing in the bar by removing her cloths one by one unfortunately the sound system will get spoiled. The expression from her will be awesome.
•  When she says to her room mate like "If i am missing some day please don't forget to inform someone that i am missing", shows her worry and the fear.
• The police officer when he says that he was not given enough authorization to proceed in the case makes us to get the real feel when our hands are tied though we are good to go.
• The scene when psycho stands on the other end of the river and a poisonous snake aims at Diana will be awesome.
• 80% of the movie Diana will be naked but the talent of the direct + acting of her will not make us to move our eyes below her face.

Exam (2009) - Movie only for Talented

Yesterday i saw a movie after long time. One line about the movie is "We need some talent to watch it".

Movie Name : Exam.

Story Line:

Eight talented candidates are taken for a final round of an interview. The invigilator gives eighty minutes to answer for one simple question. This eighty minutes decides their eighty years of their life. Whoever answers this one simple question after eighty minutes will be hired. He instruct the following rules to the candidates and starts the clock then he leaves the room. Instruction is: 

A candidate will be disqualified if

1. They try to talk to invigilator
2. They try to talk to the guard
3. They spoil the paper kept on their table
4. They leave the room voluntarily.

Time starts, the candidates turns their question paper and found it's only a blank sheet. Everyone gets disappointed. As per the rule they should not talk with invigilator/the guard so they started talking each other. Now the challenge for everyone is to find out the question before they answer. Each candidate is from different field they are confused about the position that they are hiring for?

No question found, but they have to find the answer for the question :) This movie is fully taken in a simple room. How can a 1hr 30 min movie be in simple room? Talent of director plays the entire movie.

Enjoyable scenes:

1. The movie starts with introduction of each candidates with their preparation from rest room. It's pictured very well.
2. Each step the candidates takes to find out the question is shown very clearly and logic.
3. The fight b/w the candidates and the criminal ideas b/w them to win the test was pictured very neatly.
4. Along with the candidates we will also start investigating on the question, that's true.

Untraceable - Every clip thrills you PG 13+

Today I watched a movie titled "Untraceable". This movie is about an FBI unit that searches for and solves cyber crimes, which is anything involving the internet and computers. 

Diane Lane plays Jennifer Marsh in this Movie. They use to involve in the case where some theft and other computer related crimes happen until they saw a site named "Killwithme.com". A Psycho killer kidnaps the person and setup the environment to kill that person. The video streaming is done live and the more viewers the faster the victim dies. It's like the visitors of the page kills the victim.

The first murder starts from an animal, and it continues. Jennifer starts investigating this case and the challenging part to her team is they couldn't trace the website killwithme.com. The website server keeps changing to different location. In the second murder the victim gives a clue which FBI team captures to investigate faster. Meantime FBI head gives a press meet to request US people not to visit this site. Every one are humans, what to do??? The viewers keep increasing faster in millions and the victim dies soon.

One day a team member of Jennifer is kidnapped and he is streamed lively. FBI team doesn't know what to do and how to react. The viewers keep increasing and the guy is gonna to die. Jennifer with the help of his team member she reads that guy's eye reaction. He gives the clue to FBI. Whether FBI reacted fast and saved that guy? Who was that guy? Why he kills everyone? is the rest of story. You can see some logic fall with FBI move which is common in movies. They should have given some extra care on this.

Lovable Scenes:

• Every scene is well narrated and makes you to sit on tip of your chair.
• The person behind the website starts coming after Jennifer and he will set up a camera outside of her house. Her daughter would see that in her PC and goes out of the home to see where is the cam. It was very interesting.
• When a FBI agent was kidnapped and he tries to give the clue thru his eyes was unusual + interesting. 
• The more visitors view the website the victim is killed soon. The website lets the viewers kill the victim
• When Jennifer was kidnapped by the killer the scene was narrated very interesting.

Daylight Robbery PG 12+

Dear Readers,

Today i saw couple of movies on which i feel they are too good. Hence sharing the same. 

We might have seen in many movies where bank robberies occur as a 5 mins and 10 mins scene. Usually robbery itself is an interesting scene's in movies(not in real), if i say you have a full length robbery movie, how will you feel? I know you will love it.

Story line:

A team of 5 members plan to steal millions of untraceable cash that is stacked in the underground vaults of The London Exchange Bank. This gang joins with a team to see The World Cup Tournament in Germany and from the airport they check in. Instead of passing through to Departure Lounge, the gang head out to the car park and drive thru the bank.

They block the exit with their vehicle and started to steal millions of cash. The moment they get inside to block the exit one guy among the gang will get hurt. He needs to get medical assistance. The police arrives the bank and rounded up.

How they rob the bank? What happen to that guy who needs medical assistance? Did they rob the bank? is the rest of the story.

This movie is based on a real robbery event.

Lovely Scenes:

• The entire movie is narrated without any violence is the best part of the robbery movie.
• The way they plan to take out the cash from the bank is unusual.
• Entire team will be helping each other though they have many misunderstanding within them.
• When a doctor was sent to help, he will be requested to undress himself before he get into bank. With no reply or request doctor will undress to help that guy.

The Burning Plain (PG18+)

The burning plain - A story about a gal who finds a secret relationship of her mom.

Sylvia is running a hotel and she use to have relationship with anyone she likes.  She sleep with one of her servant in her hotel. When days move on she use to have contact with one of her customer which this servant dont like. He warns Sylvia and there was an argument happening. In mean time a frequent follower named Carlo save her and sylvia took her to home. She offer Carlo to have relationship with her. Carlo rejects it and go out of his home. 

The next day Carlo started following Sylvia. 

She turn back and should at Carlo and says "What do you want? Who are you? " 

Carlo replies "Mariana I would like to talk to you?" 

Sylvia replies to him "I am Sylvia, i dont know who is Mariana?" 

Carlo answers "Your husband has sent me, I have came here to see you with your kid MARIA"

Sylvia: ??????

Who is Sylvia? Why did she changed her name from Mariana? What happened b/w her husband and her? is the rest of the story.

Lovable moments:

Below are the moments that i loved in this movie.

• The way the story was formed and edited was awesome. Special thanks to Guillermo Arriaga(Director)
• When Mariana saw her kid for the first time after she gave birth, the expression that she gives is awesome
• Maria's reaction on when her mom fights with her Carlo to speak to her daughter.
• When Mariana came to know that her mom is having secret relationship with an another person, they way she investigate to find it was narrated good.
• The story from the beginning goes as two different tracks and  the final co-relation was shown in a cute manner.
• There are many more, Just watch out.

Sneakers - Hacking + Thriller Movie

Dear Readers,

Today i thought of posting a review of a movie that i watched couple of hours ago.

A sneaker is a thriller + computer cryptographic hacking related movie which was released in the year 1992 on which i was introduced to the world of computer :).

It was directed by Phil Alden Robinson and released on 9 September 1992.

Story line:
A testing security team which is leaded by Martin Bishop is blackmailed by two government agents to steal a top secret black box compromising to clear this teams black records.

Martin Bishop and his team steal this black box and they decode the box, they discover that it has the capacity to decode all existing encryption system around the world and this government agent who hired them is fraud.

Now Martin bishop was kidnapped by that gang and what happened after that is the rest of the movie...

Magic Movements:
This movie is a full thriller kind of movie and the best part that i loved most is

1. The blind man in the team helps to recover the black box with his sound observation.

2. When Martin goes to steal the black box back where he was requested to urge but due to sensor he cannot.

3. The analog and first generation of computer's how the system works was cool.
