Know the meaning without any link?

Google is everywhere. Every day Google gives some new features to users.  Now don’t ask me why they are still giving everything for free, Pray that they should not stop the service.
Let’s not deviate from our topic here. Have you ever noticed that we can find the meaning of a word without browsing into any dictionary/other web links?

If you want to know a meaning of any word it’s simpler now. Open Google, type “Define space and your word” (see the above screen).
Now it’s your turn,,,, Google it I say J

Dont thank me now!!! Thank to Google!!!!!!!!!

How to grand access to file for 1 day or for other time limit?

When you use some common PC @ home/office we will be in a position to share a folder or file to our friends or with colleagues.  After they use it we will forget to unshared, Ops!!! Human memory is not CPU J still we are humans.
Today let us see how to share a file or folder for 1 day or for some few hrs to others.

Yes, with no doubt this is freeware!!!

SecureShare is a freeware which allows you to add a password and expiration date to your files you would want to share to your friends or others, people can only view your files by entering the password you assigned before the expiration password arrives, Moreover your files cannot be copied, printed, saved, forwarded or printed. Mmmm….. You will love this when you start using it.

How to block access to websites in your own PC?

Dear readers,

You can’t stop thanking me if I tell you this tip!
This scenario may happen to everyone. I am having my notebook in my home and my parents/relatives/friends any one can access my PC. But I may think of blocking some websites to be accessed by others thru my PC. There are lot of parent control software’s available but still we shall see how we can do this by our own.
For Eg., I would like to block youtube.com from my PC.
1.     Goto C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc or C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc
2.     Open “hosts” file in notepad.
3.     At the end of that file you should be seeing
“127.0.0.1       localhost”.
4.     Now add
127.0.0.2 www.youtube.com and

127.0.0.3 www.anywebsitename.com
5.     Once you are done, reboot your PC. Now you won’t be able to access youtube or any other site name that you have specified.

Two Program Files Folders in my Windows folder!

Dear Readers,

Have you ever wondered why does windows folder has Program Files & Program Files (x86)? Mmmm, I know now you should have recalled why you don’t think thisJ.

Whatever it may be, let’s see why we have these two folders.
The first folder (Program files) is the default location for all of your 64-bit programs. It does not have an extra label at the end because as a 64-bit operating system, it is assumed that you will have only 64-bit applications installed on your computer.
The second folder labeled Program Files (x86) is the default location for all of your 32-bit applications. To be clearer, it is a folder designed for legacy software that is left over from the days of 32-bit operating systems.
Hope it’s clear now, It’s not that much easy for all the software and hardware company to switch from 32-bit to 64-bit as Microsoft doesL. They need to consider many parameters.
By the time all the software and hardware company reaches 64-bit, who knows Microsoft may release 128-bit architecture with one folder (Program files, Program files x86, Program files xx86) J

Meet you again!
